The Independent Film Festival takes place in Philadelphia June 26th – 29th, 2008, will screen 151 independent films from 20 localities of international cinema. Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell calls The Philadelphia Independent Film Festival “one of these summer events in Philadelphia that makes our wonderful state of Pennsylvania a great place to visit and vacation.”

The Independent Film Festival in Philadelphia will present films in the past-radical, the burgeoning arts district of Northern Liberties. All testing sites are a short walk of each other: North Bowl, the Freedom Lands Park, Arbol Café, Liberties Walk, Tower Gallery, Office of Media and joinery Film Studios. The screenings will be accompanied by stimulating roundtable discussions and filmmaker, panels, demonstrations, film reviews, and a casting line for a current project.
